My Name is Edye Fisher-Discount. I have created the Pilates Therapist studio in order to address the individual needs of each client. I offer customized reformer, mat and chair Pilates. I also offer rehabilitative stretching and strengthening.
I learned and developed these modalities while working with Dr. Grozalis, a Bucks County, PA area Chiropractor specializing in rehab therapies. Most rehab facilities focus on the specific injury while Pilates based rehab works the entire body. For about the last 10 years I have been instructing geriatric Pilates twice a week and I also instruct a Pilates class for people who have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
Pilates is for people who want to start with a stretching program as a result of major inflexibility, or people who want to prevent injury. Pilates is for people who want to build long and lean muscles.
